2. The most important counter-terrorism strategy is to kill or capture terrorist leaders. Discuss.
3. What is meant by ?de-radicalisation?? What does this involve?
4. How can ?terrorism? be defined? What are some of the problems with trying to define terrorism?
Marks will be awarded having regard to:
? Content, including level of comprehension of the topic and focus on answering the question set. (Shows a good understanding of the topic; covers some key points & utilises at least 1 accurate example. Minor errors/ lack of clarity).
? Writing skills, including the effectiveness of communication by organisation of your ideas and clear, concise expression (English, grammar & spelling are all near flawless; arguments are all well-articulated).
? Structure of your arguments, including the extent to which there is a clear, logical and flowing argument (Structure: There is an overall solid, logical flow to the structure of the essay, which facilitates the arguments. The word-limit is rarely exceeded).
? Referencing, including the provision of appropriate references, consistency in style of referencing, proper acknowledgment of the work of others. (Provides appropriate references; style is consistent; no errors; reasonable variation in sources).
